perfect... thanks TRW. can i go with 11308 instead? Or do I have to buy the pistons(11309)? My calipers are already sleeved and the old pistons look good.
From all I have read on this site, VBP has the best rebuild kits for calipers. Don't be fooled like I was by VBP's website. The picture beside the rear caliper o-ring rebuild kits I saw on their website was for the axle (2 calipers) for $27.95. However, when I called to order, it turns out the price was $27.95 per caliper. I bought em anyway and will commence my caliper rebuild when they come in, which should be this Mon. or Tues.
Blues,
Chances are you have standard (lip seal) pistons so you will need the conversion kit (pistons, o-rings, dust boots) [B]BUT/B] if your going to Vettefest next week WAIT Paul from VBP is usually there and he can show you his stuff (besides it`s his job!! he will be the good guy in the black hat) besides they might have a "show special" ...redvetracr
The way I understand it is, you need to have the O-ring pistons to use the O-ring seals. Thats what makes the kit a little more expensive, but still probably worth its weight in gold. :yesnod:
I read something in a previous post - another company that has a patent
on their pistons. Something like Zero Clearance Inc. - not axactly sure.
Anyway, their product sounded to be better - but I personally trust VBP products.
