I just bought a 76 corvette with the L82 motor...
so when I first start the car it seems to leak anti freeze from the passengers side front near a/c radiator area.. I have check all hoses but can not seem to track it down. after the car warms up about 5 mins it will no longer leak. you can see antifreeze on the A arm (guess thats what it is) it make a pool under the car about the size of a silver dollar then quiets.. I checked and all the antifreeze is full in the radiator and the hold tank. anyone else know what this could be?
Welcome..........I would retighten all clamps,
if the car has a/c the belt may be a bit too close to the lower radiator hose and may be wearing a spot in the hose.......it did on mine!

I would agree, tighten clamps. Also put a wrench on the bolts attaching the water pump to the block.
there Is a weep hole on the bottom of the water pump, if it’s coming from there then it’s time to get a new water pump.

Your description of the leak location is where the Rad Drain Plug is. It should be a bolt on the bottom of the Rad. No petcock. It might have a washer, might not. Unfortunately, the only way to check the plugs quality is to get a face full of glycol.
thanks guys...I will check it out... if the water pump is leaking from the weep hole would l
it leak all the time or just when first started?
It could do either. If the seal is just barely leaking it may seal once it warms up. If that is the case then soon enough it'll be leaking all the time as it wears out.
