Default Strut rod question

Should I go with the VBP Smart Struts, upgrade to the adjustable style, use the heavy duty competition or just use the stock? Price is NOT an issue.

I just installed the VBP Smart Struts, and the rods that come with that package are adjustable. They also include an adjustable cam although I do not know why. Unless you're going to do some heave motocrossing, I'd save a few bucks and go with the standard VBP Smart Struts with poly ends. They're a good upgrade. Even if price is no object, why spend the money on something that won't do you a bit of good?

I had the same question last month and posted it-
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=422467

I ended up buying the whole pkg with the poly adj struts and the bracket. The kit comes with all hardware and was about $220. I talked to en engineer at VBP and he said that was a good choice . the HD end upgrades are reallly designed for dragging and don't hold up as well for regular street driving. I guess he meant their longevity. Also, they would give a much more uncomfortable ride.

Yeah, VBP said that the steel rod ends get chewed up too fast from the normal debris from street driving. Best bet is the adjustable's with the poly ends. I have just the strut rods and not the whole smart strut kit. I will add the bracket at a later time.
