I just put in a mono spring (Just= within the past 4 hours). And my verdict so far is way cool. The ride is very smooth, and I like the cornering response.
A great buy IMO.

Go for the smooth light fiber rear spring and dump the tire carrier.

I've had mine on for about 1 1/2 years, and once I got the proper shocks for it, it was much better than the steel spring. smooooooooooooth.
