74 corvette L82 carb issues
Ok, I have a 74 Vette w/L82 350. When I purchased it, it had various problems, I knew it when I purchased and believed I can correct them. 88k miles
After fixing the timing (Has MSD system, controller and pro-billet dist), wires (burned) spark plugs (just worn), exhaust leak, rebuild carb (QJ). Replaced bent idle mixture screws, reset float level (too high) replace accel pump assy. Im still getting a slight sputter between low speed cruise to higher speeds. Like the transition from 30mph to 45. Im thinking this may be an issue with the power piston or primary rods (maybe worn??) Should I replace both?
Then I can move on to the next issue, seems the car only shifts once. either it skips 2nd gear altogether or there is an issue with the switch under the dash. I haven't checked the modulator yet, been dealing with the engine problems first.

Did you set the float to .375?
Is the carburetor number 7044210?
Do you recall if the jets were 75 and the rods were 43?
