Default Different seats for 72

We would like to install some newer seats with with more lateral support in our 72. Can anyone please tell us if there are seats that will bolt on to our existing tracks ? If so what years will work. Thank you. :flag

I am putting C5 seats in my vert over the winter. After going on a high speed run in a C5 it was over, I had to have a pair of those seats. Nice part of it was that I bought them from a local C5 owner and the cost was about the same as fully restoring my C3 seats with new foam and a top grain leather, but the C5's are so much more supportive. Only have to due a minor mod for them to fit.

I am going to put in either late C3 seats from a 78-82 (no mods required) or some C4 seats. Slight mods required. I habve heard the C5 seats will sit up to high in a C3 without some major mods. I could be wrong though. I think the C4 seats are the easiest and offer good support. I have seen it done many times with good results.

I used 80 - 82 style bucket seats in my 68... Much better than the original seats.. If I would have to decide what seats to put right now.. I probably would get some of those Sport 2000 seats from Summit... They look like Recaros...
