Default ? on vibration

Okay at low speed around 40, I get shifter vibration. But as soon as I hit about 60 the vibration becomes much stronger to the point where you can feel it through the seats. The shifter is smooth as silk on up and downshifts.
My approach: Check motor mounts, Unlikely I think because no vibration at all at idle or below 40.
Check tranny mounts.
Lastly and my number 1 choice is bad front and rear tranny bearings.
Appreciate any opinions on my thoughts or added suggestions greatly welcomed.

Bad transmission bearings will make NOI$E not VIBES. :smash:

My vote is that you have a bad U-Joint (these cars have lots of 'em) or that the driveshaft has tossed a weight and needs balanced. :chevy

If you are feeling the vib it in the seat is comming from the rear part of the car. My guess would be the u joints. I recently had a vib at 50 mph not lower and not higher and only some times, it was the outside drive axle u joints.
