Need help! Steering, and rear end numbers?
Just starting to work on my "vette", 1971 LS-5 4 speed. The steering is vague at the center. It steers just fine after a few degrees of movement. I really hate the feel at center. Is this a steering box or idler arm problem? Any idea?
The rear seems to be geared very high. I have a M-20 wide ratio and at 60 mph only tach ~ 2,250 rpm  . I am running BF 255/60's out back. Do I have a 3.08 or 3.36? I cannot locate any numbers on the diff.
Oh and my turn signals front and back come on, but don't blink!
Any ideas on that one?
Other than that the car is good, mostly orginal paint and ALL orginal under the hood and elsewhere, 42,000 miles :D
Anyone convert then points to electronics? How easy is this one and which system is the best?
Thanks
Carbster09 :chevy
