Default Wiring questions...73 convertible

Have pulled the carpet out of the rear of my new to me 73. I found that there is a wire harness that also has the antenna cable in it, that has wires cut. 4 wires in the bundle with the antenna cable that are white, green, gray, and brown. I got the car and almost ave immediately pulled the engine out, so I am not sure what may not be working, I have a wiring harness diagram, however, it is not too easy to figure out. Any ideas?

additionally, I have two wires that are also cut right on the wall behind the passenger seat. These two wires are white and gray. Also would like to know what they are for. Ideas would be very helpful, as I don’t want to reinstall the carpet without knowing what they are for.

thanks in advance....

First pic is self explanatory. Second is a wide view of the wires coming from the dr side that includes the antenna cable. Third pic is the close up of the wires cut that are bundled with the antenna cable.

OK, thanks for the pictures.
The two wires in your first pic are actually White and Light Blue. They are for the Door Ajar switch. They will fish through the side panel and attach to the jamb switch on the lower B pillar. A thin, firm piece of wire or coat hanger with a very small J bend at the tip will usually get them through.
The other harness you show may be aftermarket. Green, Gray & White harness is usually related to a power antenna, which wasn't available in 1973. Does the car have an aftermarket stereo? And is/was there a power antenna in place that you can see?

Yes the car does have an aftermarket stereo. I will do some digging, but think it could have been used for rear speakers....maybe. Can’t believe people just cut and leave bare wires....wait...I can believe it.

the antenna cable is also really long(in the same wire bundle), as in two feet too long. Makes me believe that the antenna cable is not stock either. You can see the few coils of antenna wire If you look close at the picture showing the rear compartment.

thanks

So no power antenna?
The harness tape wrapped onto the antenna wire was done by someone other than GM. You may be correct on the speaker wire guess if there is no power antenna.
Good luck with the work brother.
