Does anyone have a line/link/phone# to the company that manufactures the wireing harnesses for our sharks??? I need a courtesy lamp socket for under the dash of my 72. Since it's part of the dash harness, G. Gruhala says the manufact is the only one to carry them new. I've called around to the usual vendors with no luck.
Thanks guys

I replaced the rear wiring harness on my '77. I used M&H Electric Fabricators. There website is http:\\www.wiringharness.com. I don't what they carry in stock. It did take at least a couple of weeks to get my harness. I do plan on buying the main dash harness from them in the next month or two...

P.S. The rear wiring harness looked NICE when I got it...
For what it's worth... I was reading through Lectric's Limited's webpage to see if maybe I could repair my main harness instead of replace it (a $500 part). I noticed that they do NOT sell most of the parts individually. Basically they sell switches, fuses, and some blocks but not any of the bulb assemblies.
I hope I am wrong and I am curious what you find out.
Still-learning: I have to check when I get home, but if the side marker is the same lamp as interior, I will retro fit it to the interior. Side marker sockets W/wires ARE available everywhere. I'll let ya know. Thanks for the info dude!!!

I'll save you 6 months of searching. You can't get the part. I looked all over creation and couldn't find it. Finally, at Carlisle, I spoke to the guy from Lectric Limited and he told me they don't sell the parts individually. He then went into his trailer and pulled out a box that looked like it lived in Love Canal for a few years. He then pulled out a used harness and compared the courtesy lights to the one's on the harness. They matched and he cut them out of the old harness for me. Cost? 10 bucks for the pair and it was worth every penny not to keep looking for those damned things. If you can't do this you might want to go with my backup plan. Painless Wiring has courtesy lights and mounts on their site. They cost more than the used one's because they come with the switches for the door jambs but they look like a quality product. Here's the web page. Good luck. http://www.painlessperformance.com/connectr.htm
