Help! Steeroids, Big Block, and Headers Fitment
Hey All,
I am reinstalling the Big Block in my '73. The problem I'm having is clearance with the new 1-7/8" Hooker Headers with Steeroids. The Steeroids cleared fine with the stock cast iron manifolds. But now the #5 tube causes the steering linkage to go way out of line and bind up.
Is there another way to connect the Steering Wheel Shaft with the Rack? Or, are there other Headers that will have better clearance for the steering linkage?

These look like the same ones, except with ceramic coating: https://www.hedman.com/product-detail/66897
Did they line up with your stock exhaust, or did you have to get pipes custom made?
