bent rocker arm stud
I have a set of heads lying around and noticed one of the press in studs is slightly bent. Would this really effect anything or should it be fixed before using. It is in solid though and leans foward towords the intake manifold.

I would certainly have it replaced by your local machine shop. By being out of alignment it will cause undue wear on the rocker and valve stem. If you are planning to go high performance you should probably have them all replaced with the threaded type anyway.

An engine is a high precision piece of equipment with tolerances measured in the thousands fo an inch, if you can actually see something that is out of alignment you had better get it fixed.
