Default Delphi/Packard 56 female plug ‘with bump’

I’m looking at wiring in a relay to the spare ign spade in the fuse box (1969). These spare connections take a female connector with a rounded end in the middle or ends depending on which spare you are using (Bat, ACC, IGN). I’ve searched through here and several electrical vendors that sell Delphi/packard connections but I can’t seem to find it. Would anyone know what that connector is called or part # or even a place to buy it? I might try calling Lectric Limited and see if they’ll sell just the connections. Here is a picture of the fuse box (from Wilcox for a 73 I think) and you can see the little indent. I guess I could use a regular 56 female connector but I’m worried it might pull out easily.

Those bumps are interlocks to make sure the correct connector was used on the line.
(Perhaps some dealer goodies were keyed to the correct output)
They do ZIPPO to hold it in. Use a regular good quality 1/4" female spade, and your done.
Good ones are tight. If loose, give the sides a squeeze and your good.

I agree with Big2bird, the added rib is to prevent connecting the wrong wire to wrong terminal. Does nothing to hold it in. The terminal does that.
Looks like I might have 2 of them. You can have them if you want 'em.

Actually those factory harness add ons did have little interlocks to help keep them locked in. However, a good crimp terminal will hold it fine ... maybe just support the wire with a zip tie to something else near by.

the shape of the connector dictated what power it had depending on the position of the key as you are aware I’m sure.

you can see the lil tabs half way down the connector edge (not the keyed edges) on the connectors that locked them to the fuse panel ports.

Thanks for the offer on the connectors. The white one on the right looks like it’s the correct one.

Sorry to resurrect a old thread, but I am looking for the same connector. I could use the non keyed version, but it would be nice to have this keyed one in case I were to take this apart at some point. Is anyone aware of a part number or source?

Thanks!

johnt,
Thank you. I tried calling over the holidays, but haven't got back to trying again since. I bought a regular 56 to get by for now. I'll reach out to him again soon.

Thank you for the lead on the part.
