78 Vette Forward Wiring Harness
I am going to replace my forward wiring harness. It is attached to the firewall along with a second engine harness. I checked the Assembly Manuel and it does not say specifically how to remove it. It looks like there is a bolt that holds it to the firewall and you have to remove the other harness too since they clip together?

There is a bolt that holds both the engine and the forward light harness to the back side of the fuse block (bulkhead connector). Loosen that bolt and wiggle the 2 connectors until they come apart as one, then the 2 can be separated. If you look at your new harness you can see how they fit together. The old sealer on the original connector will be hard and dried out so getting them to split will be difficult.
