Sticky ignition lock (70)
Guys,
I am helping my friend with hes 70 coupe. Car has orginal tilt column. Problem is at ignition lock is little bit sticky. You need to return key back to rin postion after started the engine. Even that is somehow liveable, but now has noticed the battery drains from time to time. I believe the power stays on even keys are off the column.
any ideas what look for before tearing it on parts?

There is a good chance that the ignition switch (down the column) is a little bit off.
