Anyone knows which LS oilpan fits the C3. I have the steeroids rack and pinion. As of now I have the stock LS3 out of a 2013 Camaro SS but I’m pretty sure the pan wont fit.
Any suggestions?
I put in an LS3 from an 09 Corvette in my 72 with Steeroids on the car. It was a real tight fit but it did work. I now have a Borgeson system and it has a little more clearance.
I used the stock pan from a 2011 camaro LS3 in my 73, I am also using the Borgenson steering box. I also have a 69 LQ4 and using the same pan. The C6 LS3 oil pan is not as deep as the camaro pan if you need more ground clearance.
I personally used the bat-wing oil pan from C5. At bit of pain when installing the engine (wings in the way of motor mount horns), but clears my Borgeson setup alright and give very flat underside, no more oil pan protruding, very convenient if you plan on lowering your C3.
