Default Where does this green wire go?

Picked up this car this week and noticed this green wire coming from the compressor. It was laying under the air cleaner and not attached to anything. Any ideas? Thanks

Disregard my previous post. I think the green wire that I was talking about was spliced in to run a horn or something by the previous owner.
