Man, it's a pain putting pics on this site!! Anyway, here's my Vette and the engine I'm installing. Probably have it cranked around Thanksgiving (I hope). Only thing lacking is the wiring and installing the transmission cooler. Wiring sounds easy, but since I've taken out the computer and all the emissions BS it might get interesting. Installing the new computer and making sure it runs the fan, knock sensor, and torque lock up could be interesting too. I'll get some better pics this weekend. I live in Orlando and my car is in Ft. Pierce, FL, because I'm still in college and have no garage. Only get to work on her a couple times a month. :(
Dosen't look as good as many of the other Vettes on this site. I've never seen so many modified Corvettes! It was such a pain finding out information on C3's because it seems like NOBODY modifies them!! Glad to know I'm wrong!! I also know now that 17" wheels will look SWEET!!
The intake was originally designed by Lingenfelter to fix the flow problems of the tuned-port engines. It's got a huge plennum and massive runners with a 1,000 CFM throttlebody. It's a neat system. Pain to put together though.
Accel sells everything seperate. It does require a laptop (or a long cord to a desktop) for programming. I've played with the software. Can't wait to see it light up when the engine runs.
