I found this interesting item on eBay. It's a parts CD for 1953-1982 corvettes. Has anyone used one of these before? I am currently restoring my 73' stingray and thought this CD could be a big help. Any suggestions? Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...item=1873154040
If it's the GM parts book (I have a paper copy), grab it. Only the dealers get these, but they are updated a number of times a year (mainly for price changes), they discard the old ones. It contains half parts listings listed by system (thats how GM does it), and the other half is illustrations of said systems. It's almost better than the AIM for looking up stuff on my car. Also, a lot of the parts are still available and are often cheaper than aftermarket. I couldn't load the link you posted, but if it's cheap, go for it.
That's great! I have had the microfiche set for a few years. And do use them to look up nut and bolt sizes once in a while. Therefore I have been keeping the big bulky reader around moving from place to place. I think I may get rid of it now. I will keep my slides in case the is not up, I can always take them to the library to view and print them.
It took me a few hours to download (56k), but it was worth it. Also, the motor oil document was informative, so give that a look too. Now it's time to burn everything onto cd...
