Yes yes...I know it has been written about many times on this forum. But OMG this is a nightmare to get back in. The steering column is out so actually getting the bulbs in place, attaching the electrical connections, etc. isn't hard. The problem is that the back of the speedo where the cable connects is now, for some unknown reason, lining up right where the upper cross brace is making it impossible to connect the speedo cable (I am connecting after installation).
IF I push up hard enough on the speedo side of the dash pad, I might be able to slip the cable on...but I fear braking the dash pad.
Any thoughts besides burning the car to the ground?
Try the other side of the brace. That's the problem I've repeated over and over.
