Lower window stop location
I need to remove the side mirror on my 79 L82 (drive side) to tighten actual mirror and read just to remove lower stop but don’t seem to locate this item and for someone unfamiliar like myself with this Indeed specific information I would appreciate a bit more clarification. Thanks

I decided to follow your lead and was able to use a 1/4” drive with a 7/16” socket to remove the easier of the two nuts and then removed the felt “positioning “ plates and used a 7/16” nut driver that is used in a drill and cut the shank and left enough to clamp pair of needle nose vise grips and was able to fix the mirror.
