I'm considering using a chambered exhaust with X pipe on my '77. I would like to eliminate the large, oval mufflers in the stock position for ground clearance as well as suspension. I don't want it to be too loud, though, maybe equal to a Magna Flow or Bola system. Any one with experience with these, and what's you opinion?
Not sure if I can compare to other systems. I removed mine it was just to loud and droning. I drive mine longer distances and after a couple of hours the thrill is gone. If you only do shorter trips it may be ok.
i put them on my 68 chevelle 396 back in high school.sounded like no other, everyone asked what kind of exhaust i had on the car... not too loud at all..... put the stainless chambered on my 68 454. havent started it yet but im sure ill love it when i do
