Default Silicone radiator hose

Looking at these Silicone radiator hoses. Seem as though there supplying them for every kind of vehicle nowadays. But it seems they don't have springs in them to prevent collapse.
has anyone used these? Are they worth installing?
And, are some better than others?

Never seen a silicone hose setup for any C3.....but I can tell you that lower would have to have a spring no matter what. The only exception would be Cool Flex tubing.

Do you have a spring in your current lower radiator hose? You may be able to move it over.

I don't have an opinion on the type of hose, but I made sure the springs were in good shape in both cars.

Just a quick update on this in case someone else searches for info down the track.
first off, no I don't have a good used spring.
Second, I've done some research using Mr. Google. Seems the only advantage to these hoses is they look pretty. Most say they need to be clamped down extra tight as there prone to slipping off.
I'm also concerned about the country of origin.
I won't be running one.

I am using silicone hoses on a Honda CRX that is my daily driver and they are much thicker than regular hoses.
