UPGRADE WHEELS FOR MY 76
ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO UPGRADE WHEELS AND TIRES ON A 76. I TRIED TO RUN CLASSIC CREAGERS [15 X 8], STANDARD OFFSET, WITH STOCK TIRES AND REALLY LOVED THE LOOK. PROBLEM WAS I HAD TO USE WHEEL SPACERS TO CLEAR THE CALIPERS. THOUGHT THIS WAS TO DANGEROUS AND PUT MY RALLY WHEELS BACK ON. I WOULD LIKE TO USE A NICER WHEEL LIKE THE CRAEGER BUT STILL USE MY STOCK 15" TIRES.

I have been using my Cragar SS wheels for may years with spacers and never had any problem.
Got a lot of compliments on them. :yesnod: :cool:

Nothing wrong with using a spacer. But if you've already gotten rid of the Cragars you could look at Torque Thrust IIs. They have a somewhat similar look, but the spokes bow outward so you might be able to use them without spacers. (Or maybe one 1/8" one on each wheel.)
