I have 2 cylinders that run cooler then the other 6, especially #4. Engine is a '69 427 390hp, mostly stock. No smog, side pipes and headers. It runs well.
Here's a example, measured with infrared heat gun at the headers.
1 555f 2 639
3 598 4 420
5 630 6 635
7 653 8 501
The plugs all look good. I have swapped the plugs and tried new wires. New points and cap. No change.
Is this normal? I don't expect all cylinders to be the same, but a 233F difference is significant.
Any thoughts?
