Have seen similar issues to mine but not exactly. Have a ‘77 that the left headlight is stuck in the up position and the right headlight will go down by itself, but I have to help it out in order for it to raise most of the time. Any help is appreciated.

Headlight operation information is available to the point of near ad nauseam. Since one is partially working I would start at the headlights actuators and maybe get lucky. You have a system of rubber hoses, diaphragms, and plastic that was not designed for last 43 years.
If you aren’t concerned about keeping it all original and the issue turns out to be more than a vacuum hose replacement, You should think about converting over to electric headlight actuators.
Many members have converted and there are several kits available.
The best kit is manufactured by our fellow Forum Member, Richard454.
His kit is the best quality on the market and very reasonably priced.
He is not a forum vendor but if you pm him and include your email address, he can give you all the details.
I purchased one of his kits and could not be more pleased, plus Richard is a great guy to work with.
If you do a search, you will find many threads praising Richard and his kit.
