So my tires are just about shot. I’d like to get a lower profile tire for better performance but a low profile tire on a 15in wheel won’t look right. There will be too much of a gap between the tire and fender. So I wanted to get a 17in wheel so I can get a bigger tire with a lower profile. From what I understand the stock wheel is 15dx8w with a 5-4.75or120.65 bolt pattern and is offset -13mm with a 3.5or4in (I cant find the exact answer) backspacing. Well I’m trying to find a 17dx9w but nobody makes a 17x9 with a 5-120.65 bolt pattern and -26mm offset with 4 inches of backspacing. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something? Is my math right? Is my offset backwards? Is offset irrelevant when you have backspacing? Why can I not find any wheels that will fit?
