Need help identifying lines in battery storage box

I have two lines - not sure if they are vac or not - coming through my battery box. Any help on what they are and where they should terminate would be very much appreciated.

The original factory battery was not a sealed type and had vent tubs that connected to the battery caps.

Old vent tubes for the battery caps.

I don't need them - I don't need to sell them either - if I can get them out, you can just cover me for postage. Let me see if I can get them out for you.
