Hello hope everyone is safe and healthy. I purchased 4 brake calipers for my 1971 BB. After installing them about 24 hours later the front calipers stared leaking from the half seam slight drip. Called corvette America, they told me to check rotor runout ,keep in mind that I never drove the car. I had to send them back. Got new ones from corvette America well installed them bleed brakes same leak on the drivers front. The rotors that I purchased from corvette America are rebuilt lone star. If anybody has had this problem before I would like to hear about it. Thank you for help in advance.
H-m-m-m-m-m-. If the caliper is leaking at the parting seam, someone might have left out the little gasket that goes there. But, still, has nothing to do with runout and C.A. should know that. Somethings fishy. You sure its not leaking at the hose fitting? Did you install a copper washer on the front calipers hoses only?
Lonestar rebuilds thousands of calipers. The odds are slim, but possible, that it made it out the door w/o an inspection.
