Default Interior Rebuild Questions

Hey all,
I was experiencing a massive battery drain and it was proving to be quite troublesome to chase down piece by piece. I started tearing apart the interior to find bubba wiring after another, and also found many severed wires hanging around. Many of which could be the source, so I kept pulling and pulling. The problem is, I think I went a little over my head, BUT I'm glad I did. We found the remnants of a few extra small passengers as well as their associated living spaces and bathrooms, and we exposed some rust. It looks like not all of these parts are easy to come across, which means I need to become a rapid expert in refinishing the interior.
  1. Anyone have tips/guides to removing surface rust on things like brackets and reinforcers?
  2. The remnants of insulation (bit of glue and dried out fibers) I was thinking goo gone and maybe some light steel wool, or will that damage the body underneath?
  3. A reliable place to obtain the factory assembly manual?
  4. Underneath the battery box looks like it has completely sheared off, is that part of the body? Or is there a separate component that provided that shielding? Yes that's sunlight coming on in. (Pic Attached)

  5. Any ideas on refinishing/polishing all the interior floor paneling?
That's all I have for now, although I'm sure more and more will come up.

Request catalogs from all the suppliers as they have different part assembly illustrations. These are helpful when purchasing a part or putting things back together, you know Bubba always leaves out a part, or uses the wrong one when he is on the prowl.
