Default No Power to Fuel Pump

Looking for help. I bought a 1982 Corvette that has been sitting for a couple years. I drained the fuel and cleaned the tank and lines and replaced the fuel filter and pump. I have no power going to the pump on the sending unit but there is power going to the float on the sending unit. Also no power to the fuel pump fuse in the fuse panel. I’m wondering if there is a something I’m missing like a anti theft switch. I also checked the oil pressure switch and I do have power going to that. I’m completely stumped and don’t know what to do

Power to the fuel pump fuse will only be there for a couple seconds when you turn on the key . It will prime the pump so to speak. Then shut off until the ECU recognises the engine has started. Once the ECU recognises the engine has started, (Tach signal) the pump will continue to run and you will show power at the fuel pump fuse. Have you checked the systems relay??? Thats the first place I would look.
