Attach zip ties together so they're a slightly larger diameter than uncompressed shock. Place tip of the shock against the inside of the zip tie and push down to compress the shock. Tighten the zip ties once the shock is compressed the desired amount. Slide the shock through the lower control arm and install bolts. Cut zip tie and remove.
Good idea..i just figured out after removing shocks that i struggled to replace...figured (second time) out that you put one bolt in bottom half way...then push up and slide over to catch bolt..the insert other bolt...
i wondered why the bottom was u shaped! And not holes..at least thats what i figured out..
