door ajar switches

Default door ajar switches
Is there a certain way to hook up this switch? Mine seems to be working backwards.Door open should have the switch making contact and ajar light in instrument clustter on. Right? Mine seems to be working just the opposite. Not sure what I'm doing wrong?

I didn't know any C3's came with ajar switches... or is my bulb just burnt out???

I think on mine, the switch in door jamb lower portion, works when door is partially shut and engine or key is on, not when door is fully open.

Mine used to work but I took the bulb out cause it got on my nerves......
