Hey guys my 69 had a 73 nose and long hood and heck knows what wiper arms.. I have correct style wiper arms now with the nozzels attached.
Putting a wiper door and function wipers an squirters on this thing has been less than any other fun ive been having.
Are the squirters really supposed to shoot fluid out 180 degress apart from each other towards the absolute tips of the blades... I was not expecting the hosing i got at 12 last night when the pump actually worked. The spray hit the ceiling the hood the decklid and the car parked next to me nevermind washing me in the drirvers seat. Or are these just made wrong?
Im used to the nozzel looking like a double barrel shot gun at the end just spraying the window (thought thats how these worked cause i really didnt look at the nozzels up close I thought the flat crimpped off piece at the end was the double barrel style.. ).. not sure how two holes 180 apart from each other is optimal but just want your guys experience since i have none on this. I would have expected them to be pointing at the windshield at least a little.
The washer tube with the holes 180 apart is correct for 69 and maybe up to 72. I think there is a third hole pointed straight down to the windshield. The design idea was to provide enough washer fluid on the drivers side of the windshield to be effective at high speed. The passenger side has a different hole arrangement.

Got some better pics .. remarkably hard to get pics of these lil squirters nevermind the holes from inside the car through the windshield.. camera wants to focus on the sky and not the squirters ..
RED VERT 02 is exactly right there are actually 3 holes I see them NOW on both sides.
This all makes sense now guys... thanks for the input!
