Default Starter relay interlock switch question
Hi!

I have a question about the "starter relay interlock switch"

For me this relay/switch has been giving some issues during the last year on my -74 C3....sometimes the car won´t crank at all and then I have to knock on the relay and then the car would start!

Sometimes the car can STOP when I am driving.....CAN this relay/switch cause the car to STOP if it is bad?? Or is the function ment only for when starting the car?

That relay is supposed to not allow you to start unless the seat belts are fastened. As I recall, it has nothing to do with the run function.

If you think that the relay is a problem then remove it and install a jumper wire as shown.
