Default Ground strap

Chasing short and found body ground strap on driver rear hanging loose. What does it hook to? Could this cause tach to jump when turn signals are used? Thanks

That's the original antenna ground.

I was actually wondering where the strap hooked onto the antenna. On another note I rerouted wires that had been cut or disconnected by previous owner and all is well. No more jumping gauges. The bad part is I have no idea what I did. Still waiting on new dashboard so will try to find actual culprit.

Hows this?
Just a note I have an early 79 which means if this is some sort of rare slightly different aluminum 78 but I’m pretty sure the wiring the same I would also note that the wires that are running from the antenna to the radio do not have any kind of connection so I had to cut them when I fixed the antenna in the back of the interior
