Bearing recomendations
Hey guys I am putting together my Christmas list for the BB and wanted to get some input on what brand and type of bearings to use. I am considering the Clevite77's they come in a grade up from OEM and then an "H" grade. The price for the "H" bearings are about twice as much as the regulars. What advice or other suggestions could you give me on what to go with? I ordered a new SCAT9000 crank from S&D Friday and it has standard journals if that helps any. And I am running the stock 3/8's rods with new ARP bolts. I am also going to be ordering some Sealed Power molly rings any comments on this? :cheers:

My 383 is currently being built and the builder said it would be better to spend my money on the H bearings than on total seal rings...so speed pro rings it is! He showed me both types of bearings. The H bearings have a heat treatment that makes them a lot more durable, especially in an engine that will see a lot of full throttle tire shredding blasts...not something a stocker rebuild sees to much of.
