Default Bluetooth Amp Install

Hey guys,

New member to the forum here and hoping to post a fair bit.

I purchased my C3 in 2015 with limited knowledge of the history on the car. Up
until now it was always just a weekend cruiser but I have decided to make it my daily driver rather then leasing again ( at least until Covid passes ).

In part of that I wanted to upgrade to a more modern stereo set up without cutting or changing the original radio.

I am installing https://www.kenwood.com/ca/car/marine/kac-m1824bt/

ideally I was going to put this all in the back of the car and was trying to avoid having to go into the dash. My question is around possible ideas in the back of the car where I can connect the “ turn on wire “. I can run a direct line to the battery and speaker but again wanted to avoid running wires to the front of the car if I could.

what are your guys thoughts? Is there any accessory wires in the back I the car I could tap into ?

( I don’t think this has been covered in another post but if it has - sorry for the duplicate )

thanks guys

Kris

What year is the car?
Does "turn on" mean only hot when engine is running?

Hey there,

it’s a 79. Yeah turn on would only be hot when the ignition is on. I know that this is the yellow wire at the back of the deck.
