I hear alot about a product called shark hide and it's used on aluminum and stainless steel. Has anybody tried it on stainless steel side pipes? I'm wondering if heat would burn it off or discolor. Them.
"Sharkhide can withstand fairly high temps, but I've never tried it on an exhaust system. You could try it, and if it works, great. But if it doesn't last and starts looking bad, you simply swipe it off with lacquer thinner."
Hope this helps,
