Hi,
I have a dumb question to ask. How do you get the top hat center caps off without scratching the paint on the wheel? In the past I have used thin pieces of plastic, rags, or cardboard to protect the wheel while using a brake adjusting spoon to pry off the cap (67 Chevelle w/ the flat style cap). Needless to say it is a P.I.T.A. and I'm wondering if anyone has an easier way. The rims are nice and shiny and clean on my 77 'Vette and I would hate to mess 'em up trying to get the caps off.
Thanks very much for any advice.
