Default POL front suspension

Has anyone used the POL coil over front suspension? Looks like a good price.

1963-82 Chevy Corvette Tubular Control Arm & Coil Over Suspension Kit, Stage 3+

What’s your thoughts on this product if you have installed it. I’m not looking for the rebuild it yourself comments. I’m looking at this product or similar direct bolt on products.

thanks.

Not sure about the vette stuff, but I used POL tubular control arms on my '55 Chevy and I had to do some cutting/grinding on the frame and stops to get them to fit properly. And they needed a lot of shims to get the right amount of camber and caster to get he alignment right. But other than that, I'm satisifed with the end result.

Thanks so much. I didn’t see that one in my searches. Maybe I’ll give them a call. It seems that they have worked out the kinks. And I need the BBC setup.

thanks again.
Rick.

So this is an old thread but im just adding (For those that use the Search function to research things) that they have since changed the pol arms to be the correct 9.8" long on the upper arm and the lower arm has the stop in the correct place. I am installing them on my 74 now and have one side done so far.

Not the best pics as I'm still working on it. Waiting for new rotors and I have to install the borgeson steering while I'm in it. No surprises so far. I decided to go with semi coilovers after purchasing the arms so I modified the lower perch on the Arms by removing the welded on nuts the base is plenty strong enough about 3/16 of an inch thick. Now that I think of it there was one surprise the tapered 500 lb Springs I bought do not fit the frame seat so I used the 350# spring I bought with the coilovers originally. I may replace them with something stiffer if I find the ride handling lacking

Default POL Update?

Just wanted to follow up on the POL install you did. Did everything work out? Did POL get all the kinks worked out? I gave Adlan American a call who supplies the kit with a coil over conversion to get clarification and didn't really get a straight answer. Just wanted to see how they worked out for you before I buy and install. Thanks in advance!
