1. Don't see a loose wire. Is the headlight warning switch on the linkage plugged in?
2. That is not reverse switch. That is for the transmission controlled spark TCS.

Thanks never would have guessed on the TCS. On the headlight wire its a round plug just below center of photo you can see the copper male spear inside it..
Seems to be leaking from the TCS or maybe above it.

The plug should mate with the fitting that's right near the bar where the springs are attached. Should be two copper spades, I believe in the shape of a T, that the wiring plug goes onto.

When you first pull the headlight switch OUT a light in the center console goes on (says HEADLAMP).
Once the headlights are up and locked the light goes out.
Buy two switches that MelWff posted and connect them to the plug.
Even when brand new those switches are VERY fragile. Be careful! The switch button is depressed when the headlamp doors are locked into the up position. When you turn on the headlamps the "HEADLAMP" warning in the console turns on until both doors are up and locked.
