Default Help with id please 74

Hi

Got my new to me up on the lift. Need help with a couple of loose ends.

What is the loose wire comes out of headlight wiring. Loose on both ends but only this side still has the plug. All headlights including brights work.

Is this the reverse light switch? Not connected and seems to be leaking.

Is this the right oil pressure sensor? My oil pressure gauge pegs at 80.

1. Don't see a loose wire. Is the headlight warning switch on the linkage plugged in?
2. That is not reverse switch. That is for the transmission controlled spark TCS.
3. That is the correct sender.

Thanks never would have guessed on the TCS. On the headlight wire its a round plug just below center of photo you can see the copper male spear inside it..

Seems to be leaking from the TCS or maybe above it.

The plug should mate with the fitting that's right near the bar where the springs are attached. Should be two copper spades, I believe in the shape of a T, that the wiring plug goes onto.

When you first pull the headlight switch OUT a light in the center console goes on (says HEADLAMP).
Once the headlights are up and locked the light goes out.

Buy two switches that MelWff posted and connect them to the plug.

Thanks for the help all, I'll see tomorrow if I can find the switches they may be there.

Decided I definately need a new vacuum hose kit as the current hoses are dry and cracking. Texas Heat victims.

Even when brand new those switches are VERY fragile. Be careful! The switch button is depressed when the headlamp doors are locked into the up position. When you turn on the headlamps the "HEADLAMP" warning in the console turns on until both doors are up and locked.
