Default AC Compressor power

AC compressor power not there, when jumpered ac compressor comes on. What to look for to get power from dark green wire to Compressor. Is there in inline fuse?

Fuse, temp sensor, pressure sensor. Compressor will not come on unless system is happy.

It comes off the horn relay in 1970. The orange wire, it’s a #12 wire

Default 1971 AC compressor power

I know the orage wire off of horn relay is the power wire. But if you would jump the AC compressor it would run constantly.
i found that there is a AC relay compressor module and a Dieseling module behind passenger's dashboard which controls power to compressor. I ordered those today.

On my 73 there is a lever type switch that is on the bottom of the left wheel “selector”. I believe this is what turns on the compressor when you select AC.

Check the connection at the low pressure cut off, my 77 has a molded connector and one of the connectors inside was broken. Don't get offended but is the system charged. If you are jumping at the low pressure cut off you are jumping over the problem if there is no refrigerant in the system. The low pressure cut off will cut off power if refrigerant is not present.
