Anyone know of a way to clean them without taking them all apart. Some kind of a spray or ???? :cry :mad :cry :mad

I had a similar situation with my 80 and I decided to replace all the under hood wiring. In addition to the connector corrosion, on close examination, I noticed that some of the wire insulation had minute cracks. If you bent the wire, you could see the copper between these cracks!! Looked like a short just waiting to happen.
If you decide to go the replacement route, be sure to check the archives for additional hints and vendor sources.
The harness itself is pretty straight forward to replace - just remove the old connector and plug in the matching connector from the new harness.
Where in Long Island do you live? we moved up here to New Paltz from North Babylon. :seeya
I am not prepaired to go to the new harness route, not yet
anyway  I will try anything but I think I am going to take them apart and clean all the $@#t off.
Anyone have any other ideas. PLEASE HELP.
