Trying to think how long it's been since someone would have had a reason to put that nut on. I'm thinking the guy that put the rolling chassis together 12 years ago. So that's how long it takes a nut to come loose.
It's great that the play is gone, how about the other things, like return to center by itself after turn? Things are getting better!
I'll have the alignment and castor checked at my appointment next week, but I've already had that checked in regards to no steering return and this morning when I backed it out it wasn't a few drips but more like a puddle of something like chocolate syrup under the steering box so it's coming out.
