Default Oil pan for 540 block

I had to suspend my a/f tuning because my oil pan developed a huge leak. It split open on the front edge of the sump extension. Any suggestions for what fits with the stock oil pump and pick up. The Moroso I just purchased needs a different pick up. Does anyone have experience with the Milodons or anything else that fits?
Thanks

I'd take it off and get it welded. Milodon and morose and many others make quality products. If it's a fairly new pan that didn't suffer some damage maybe contact the supplier or manufacturer

My milodon oil pan on a 540 dart block. Going in a 68 Chevelle, not sure it will fit in a C-3.( 7 qt. pan)

I run the Milodon 31188 stepped sump pan and I spin 8000 RPM regularly.

Absolutely one of the best wet sump pans out there proven on track and dyno. Oil pressure always good. If you're going to spin any RPM at all with a 4.25" stroke you better have a good pan. It clears manual steering linkage just barely....whereas the similar Moroso is about 1/4 deeper in front. I haven't tried it with a PS ram. I Have Borgeson on my car). And I know it clears some rack and pinion setups. The design of the sump actually being smaller at the bottom rather than kicked out is simple and brilliant. Whatever oil gets back to the pan will be deeper over the pickup. The internal windage tray works well also in conjunction with the full length kickout on the right side.

Is this a Mark IV or a Gen V or a Gen VI block ??? I am building my 540 using a Gen V block. The oil pans are different.

I ended up getting a new pump pickup for the Moroso 20403 pan I already have. The old pan is going in the dumpster.
