70 LT 1 Lifter Adjustment

Hi,
I've heard that LT 1 valve adjustment is different from normal valve adjustment procedure and settings
Does anyone know if this is true?

Google " 30 30 cam adjustment ".
You will find a paper by John Hinckley that has a section on the LT 1.
If after reading it you still have questions, come back here.

Do you have a true GM spec LT1 cam and stock GM stamped steel rocker arms? The revised lash spec is good for that.

If you have aftermarket rockers the procedure is still valid but the lash spec is different.

Yes, it’s a solid flat tap pet cam. It needs a lash setting . Read down until you get to the LT1 specs
