Re-sand the car down with 320 grit sand paper till it is smooth again it will not take much to do this. Do any minor body work that needs done the go to the paint store and by some epoxy primer/sealer. put this on with 2 heavy coats. Then sand this down also with 320 till you get the surface smooth then use a primer to get the car ready to paint.

I wouldn´t call that a problem
Just prime your car with epoxy primer and let it breath a while until you´re starting with the paintjob. (Paintgurus let their car sit for one month!)
Normally a week or so is sufficient in my opinion.
Days of gelcoat are gone, nobody uses this stuff because epoxy primer seals better, sands better => is better.

Haha, wrote painthop instead of paintjob, well it´s Friday afternoon ;)

Make sure you wash the bare glass thoroughly with soap and water and then I would wipe with pre-paint wash solvent in case the guy that stripped it didn't get all the stripper off. Like was mentioned before the epoxy sealer will do a great job. Craig :chevy
