78 corvette engine starting/fuel delivery issue
Hello,
I have a 78 25th anniversary silver Corvette. After it sits for longer than a day I have to use starter fluid in the carb to get it started, but from then it runs great. It will start without problem for the next 12 or so hours, but after that I have to use starter fluid again to get her running.
Looking for knowledge and ideas as to what could be causing this.

Assuming you have the original Quadrajet carburetor, do you have the correct fuel filter installed with the one way check valve?
