Hi Guys,
i got my first Vette about a month ago..enjoying it. I replaced the rear lenses and now would like to replace the dim headlights. Any recommendations?? Easiest install preferred.
Headlights shoudn't be dim - if they are you may have a charging issue, wiring or ground issue. In that case I wouldn't expect changing headligths would fix your problem.

Right . Sorry to clarify, "dim" compared to LED lights of my Acura. They are normal and probably original, was wondering if something was brighter and easily replaceable.
Hello, keeping in mind the 40 plus year old wiring in your car that runs all headlight current through the headlight and high/low switches. First step to brighter lights is to update your wiring by running a fused dedicated power wire from battery or end of battery cable at solenoid. Said power wire run to 2 relays, one for high beam one for low beam. So your switches are just triggering the relays. Taking all that load off of your delicate old switches. And getting true 12.7 volts to your bulbs, this alone will brighten up your lights.
there are 5and 3/4inch sealed halogen bulbs available, and LED,s that fit as well. I've seen numerous threads on here about LED's that fit. Do just a bit of searching. If the search feature on here isn't working well, try Google search, "Corvette LED Headlights". Most everything Google will pull up will be from this forum.
good luck, if you need to learn how to wire a relay go to "Mad Electrical's" web site.
